Code Catalogue
Caccaro’s Code catalogue is together with Happy, one of the two projects made for the release of the Freedhome collection, dedicated to large storage.
To be specific Code is the technical catalogue while Happy represents the emotional project; both respond above all to the need to design different instruments targeted at different users. Code in fact contains all the technical information that the designer can manage to develop a composition with the Freedhome system.
From a graphic point of view, the catalogue respects the choices designed for Happy; in fact, on the cover, there is the logo, the title and the detail of the window. The window concept is one of the graphic choices adopted for the Freedhome catalogues; talking about Code, inside the window, you can note the development of the catalogue code, the graph paper. The graph paper in fact tells the technical function of Code. The infographic inside the catalogue includes a thorough overview of the Freedhome system; it describes in fact the potential, the logic of the system, the subfamilies and the various elements.
The photographer Flavio Favero and the stylist Luigina Pilloni have revised a photographic story where the context is practically absent and the product is the unique and undisputed leader. In addition, the product is presented in a rigorous manner, with almost orthogonal images, thus extremizing the concept of technique.
We decided to use one colour for each chapter to increase the readability of the product. With regard to the layout, we have adopted the same stylistic choice; in fact, each chapter opens with a colour page, where the background anticipates the finishing used in the photos of the chapter.
