Colibrì catalogue
Colibrì is the first catalogue born from our collaboration with Forma 2000, a company of the Veneta Cucine Group.
The project was anticipated by a graphic communication study used in upcoming works.
Colibrì is also the name of the collection in the catalogue; the project consists of two catalogues, one for handling and the other for throat collections. Each catalogue is then divided in a similar way, with a first part dedicated to the setting and a second one to technical details.
In fact, the customer’s request was to present the product in the everyday: for this reason we designed six various “homes”, houses in which to place the compositions. In particular, we have designed realistic backdrop settings to enhance the product; in the same way the sets allow the customer to imagine his own kitchen. We have designed realistic settings that aim to create a backdrop to enhance the product; in the same way the settings allow the customer to imagine the kitchen inside his own home.
With regard to the cover, the graphic project required a specific study to establish the basis for prospective designs: we therefore chose to represent the diverse kitchens with capital letters, that would become the distinctive sign of the collections: in this case the letter is the “C” of Colibrì: plain the one for the handle system, underlined the other for the throat ones, as if to represent the clear line that the throat draws on the kitchen doors.
The second part was dedicated to technical details: on this spot we collected the drawings, the compositions and all the information. With regards to the technical drawings, we drew axonometric designs easier to understand even for the customer. We selected Kraft paper in blue colour for the cover, for its tactile look.
